David Moyes Reaffirms West Ham’s Stance On Declan Rice’s Transfer.

The 23-year-old Rice is regarded as one of the most complete midfielders in the world, and his two standout seasons at West Ham coincided with his becoming as an important member of England’s squad.

Rice has 32 caps for his country and was released by his former club Chelsea when he was 14 years old. Both Manchester United and Manchester City have also expressed interest in signing Rice.

Indeed, 90min reported in June that Todd Boehly, the new Chelsea co-owner, had contacted West Ham about the potential of making a deal for Rice. However, the Irons’ leadership had given Boehly the cold shoulder and made it clear that Rice was not for sale.

West Ham and manager David Moyes have long held that position.
